It's getting ugly.. 31-0 now. Texas A&M Slackies!
Miami is looking like the Miami of old just a bit, thumping Texas A&M 24-0 in the 3rd.

It's getting ugly.. 31-0 now. Texas A&M Slackies!
Officially retired
As I was saying after watching the FIU game, its not Nix that is the problem, hes putting them into position to make plays, we just dont have playmakers at this point. We looked great tonight and hopefully we can sustain what we have. Still too many turnovers but its a start. I still believe it will be 2 years before Miami will return to where they had been. They should be pretty much favored or a small underdog to win the rest of their games. Kyle just has to keep it up.
They kept talking about the Oklahoma game, but as many 3 and outs as they had in that game with Kirby, theres a reason they gave up that many points. Miami is a 15-25 caliber team. Their season will be based upon being able to sustain drives because they just dont have the firepower to score quickly. Limit the turnovers and convert on 3rd and 5 or less and you probably end up with a 10-2, 11-1 type team. GT, FSU, and VT will be the tough games and thats not saying a whole lot these days.
Please stop calling out Darnell Jenkins too, he gets open and hes the best we have.
shields had a monster game
kyle played the best game in 4 years
the OL finally played a complete game
the DL played 1000000 times better than last sat
the STs is still shitty though

In reviewing the stats (did not watch the game), what the heck happened to Baby J?
Or was the A&M run D that good?
Go Wahoos!
Go Mounties!

They just bottled up the run pretty well. He splits carries with Coop so his #s arent going to ever be that great to begin with. Cooper didnt do that much either but paded his stats with a long run. They are sort of like Davis and Spiller. The passing game was where the points came from so they stuck with it. They could have probably scored 50 if it wasnt for 3 fumbles.
Blue, would you say that was the best offensive performce since the Berlin era? Even at VT in 05, all the points came off of turnovers and Charlie Jones 3 yards at a time.
agreed
one of the best offensive shows in probably 4 years
even the virginia tech game years ago wasnt as solid on offense
well played game

I have guarded optimism though. TAMU is just one of those teams thats the perfect cure for your own teams failures. They are BC of the west. If Kyle has a good game against GT then I'll feel much better and believe a little more. Either way though, the important thing about this game is showing recuits that the offense is capable and that more talent will bring more success. Guys like Davon Johnson really needed to see tonights game. The only play I didnt like out of Nix was the playaction reverse fake that got Kyle hammered and killed the drive.
that call was dreadful
as was the 2nd direct snap inside the 5
